The Longwick Art Show returns for it's 33rd year! 

The show, based at the Longwick School near Princes Risborough, will be as popular as ever with over 80 artists and creators showing over 450 pieces of outstanding original work. The artists are mainly from Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire but some come from as far as Devon and Nottingham.

There is a diverse range of styles to appeal to all tastes from traditional landscapes to large scale abstract pieces. Featuring work in all kinds of media including traditional oils, watercolours, acrylics, linocut, encaustic wax and stitched textiles as well as colourful glassware and beautiful jewellery.

Sculpture is represented by several artists with a variety of styles in clay or bronze for indoors through to larger figures in stone or metal just as suitable for outdoors. There are also brilliant photographs covering subjects such as scenery, classic cars and even our solar system.

As well as the original work there is the opportunity to buy greeting cards, prints and gifts.

There is also a celebration of our children’s creativity and extraordinary talent. in a display of artwork by the students of Longwick C of E School.

A Preview Night will be held on Friday 25th February 7.30 - 10pm.. As well as being an opportunity to get a first look at the amazing artwork there will be live music from special guest Billy Watman plus an opportunity to meet the artists. The show was presented by the Friends of Longwick C of E School and was our biggest show yet, with profits raised going towards the school.

Over its history, Longwick Art Show has raised money towards a new STEM lab, Forest School, laptops, iPads and many other enriching experiences.
